yes its a real pro,came in a black and silvery/green box in kit form.
on the first page of the manual where the diffs are assembled,the 4th and 5th items on the left hand listing (shim),there are none of those in the kit at all,nor any bearing spacers which it mentions.
pt number:
BA1001B012 X4 per diff
BA1001B013 X2 per diff
as i said loads of small shims which i can't find a use for at all,they will fit where the others above should go but they are not wide enough to support the gear,they are a little bit wider than the o ring in the diff casing.

yes,and apparently hes checked a few kits and they are all the same!!
also the chassis isnt milled the same as the purple swift 2 one either,only the engine side is milled and the front and rear gearbox,again all his kits are the same,weird.

Just a thought, there are two different designs for the Swift diffs. If you look at the Schumacher UK site for details on the different designs. The revised diffs have a different rebate cut into the gearbox casings & different spur gears I believe.
I only have the standard Swift 2 diffs, which came shimmed. I don't know anyone who has tried the revised "Pro" diffs, but there is no reason to assume it requires shimming. Try assembling it dry & see how tight/loose it feels.

yes mine has the revised diffs with rebates in them
tim,the shimming i am referrring to is in the diff gear casing,where the output shaft for the wheels has a pin thru it there should be a shim behind the pin to stop the pin rubbing on the plastic gearbox..if not eventually that pin is gonna wear the gearbox away.the diff action feels ok without the shims but NEED to be there,simple mechanics.

the gears in the diffs are slightly thicker too.
on another note i am minssing 2 screws for the gearbox and 2 for the shocktower.
the rear shocktower is now cnc rebated,when you put the alloy brace for the chassi brace on the rear shocktower it half sits in a rebate making it cock to one side..I'm going to have to make a shim up for it.
also powerracingrc are not stocking the swifts any more and are removed from their site..it also redirects the name to happytimehobby now..weird.but the other buggy on their site is a swift all bar name !!

yeah stupid little things like that can spoil a cars reputation no end 
those clips were a right royal pain to get in.
i made some delrin caps to go over the end of the shock where the o rings go,i fitted an additional o ring inside this cap,this should help keep the dirt out,didnt like those durex boots they included.
regards the inner diff shims,i spoke to schumacher and apparently other people who bought the swift pro also have them missing..so i think they are trying to source some...in the meantime i have a car sat here i can't use as i have no shims!!
ok,what size pistons are people using and how many holes?
mines built kit,2 holes,1.3-1.4mm holes as near as i can determine(found a tight drill bit and measured it) and 35wt oil,now the car feels very heavy on the damping on the bench,slow to rebound back up.now i know in electric the cars are much lighter on the damping than this..would say going to 1.2mm holes and 25wt be better?..the track where i race is astroturf and quite bumpy,no big jumps tho just some small hops

I would use the shocks like this first to see
it seems alright for such a bumpy track
rather use bigger holes 1.6 with dicker oil 50-60 wt if you want to change for real heavy holes in the track
gives soft action at compressing and harder on rebound

yeah ill give it a try,,altho i still can't use the car.still no diff shims at schumacher..they say could be next week at the earliest,which means i will have had the car nearly 3 weeks by then sat on my workbench and missed rallycross meetings..I'm not a happy chappy,if i knew there were any other shim sets out there that would work i would have to get those..tho frankly i dont see why i should have to buy 4-5 different manufactures shims sets at £5 a go to see if i can bodge something.

I've had to rob screws from my old swift to replace missing ones from the swift pro,i know schumacher can't control what the koreans put in/leave out of the kits but maybe a little more time assesing the finla product before selling to the public may have been better in hindsight,its like being sold a tv with no plug on..and being told you can't buy them yet.

As for the clutch, I have the black mugen clutch shoes. You can use almost any manufacture clutch shoes cause they are all compatable.

so they are still selling the kit knowing you can't finish it..nice!
i tried to find some of the mugen and yokomom shims but can't find any in the uk.
schumacher have the other shims advertised on their webshop but it says 5mm shims,i take this to be 5mm external size?
