Hi,

Recently seen one of these at a show in the UK. Couldn't have a real good look, but it seems to me this is a savage in all but name? Can you guys confirm? Also can anyone confirm what is different between the Savage and Raptor? Is there some kind of deal going on between PRP and HPI?

Confused

Marc

The Raptor is not a copy of the Savage. HPI has nothing to do with it either. Its just a Chinese "sampling" of HPI's engineering and years of experience. They stole all of the good ideas, and fixed the bad ones. It looks like a good truck, but why buy something like that? Its just wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I have a Savage so I'm not in the market for a new truck, just curious. Do you know what parts have been changed then, and will they fit the Savage?

None of the parts on the raptor is compatable with the savage. The only things that are compatable is the wheels and body.

Thats correct. Nothing is exactly the same. I may trya nd fit the roll bar on though, whenever parts become available at my LHS.
