I have a 2.5r that won't hold a tune so I'm trading in in for a 3.3 what are some pro's and con's between the two engines? And will i have to upgrade anything on my truck? Thanks!!!!:\

my buddies 3.3 always seemed to run cooler and took alot less tuning, never saw a con with it personally. way more low end too.

from what I'm told you can get an o.s. .18 for the same price that holds a tune better than the traxxas 3.3

I have the 3.3 in a Revo and a Jato. They are pretty decent engines from what I can tell so far anyway. I would say go for it. Lots more power for sure.
