can the dynamite prophet LCD charger charge a reg 12 volt lead acid truck battery at very low amps. 1. AMP and lower? it is called out to do Ni-Cd and Ni-MH up to 7 cells. i have done 8 cells with no trouble. but never charge big amps. all most allways less than 1 AMP on the called out batts.

It's not designed to do your truck battery using the NiMH or NiCd settings. It can damage the charger or battery or both. If it has a Lead acid setting there shouldn't be a problem.

yep i knew you would be right. i am just wanting to have a finer control on low amp current charging on my truck batt.
