Hey Guys,

I just recently bought an ACNCM head for my Tmaxx's 2.5 mill. I only used the shim that was on the original head when I replaced it. By putting that head on that 2.5 did I increase, or decrease compression? Or does that have any affect? Do I need to add more shims to the head? Thanks guys.

Tom

I had the ACNCM head on my 2.5 with the stock gasket and the cranking compression (using a gauge) was the same as the stock head. I did try the thinner head gasket to see if I could get some more out of it, but it ran poorly with the thinner gasket.

I think the ACNCM heads are the same demensions as the stock heads, so compression is the same if you use the same amount of shims. I also used the stock shim and had no probs...
