I just received my new picco .26 max red dot for my T-maxx. What is the proper procedure for a carb install? I know I need to use copper silicone to get a good seal but due to throttle linkage alignment do I need to install the carb after the mounting the motor? Do I need to do a mock up first? What's your guys experiences with this?

Thanks

Mock it up and find the correct carb angle then lock it down.

I personally never use any sealant on any nitro engine; if the o-rings are bad enough to cause a leak I replace them.
Others swear by sealing an engine. I and many others I know don’t, and don’t have problems.
User preference I suppose.

I second the non use of sealant. its just a band aid.
