What is the proper way to break in an engine, other than using the heat cycle method? I saw some forums that had some people say about a 12x2 cycle and a 6x3 cycle. What are these things? Thanks

no idea mate but another way of breaking in is:
1 tank of idle
1-2 tank 1/4 throttle
1-2 tank 1/2 throttle
1-2 tank 3/4 throttle
1 tank of idle
1-2 tank 1/4 throttle
1-2 tank 1/2 throttle
1-2 tank 3/4 throttle

Heat cycle is the best method, IMO. It provides for a more accurate break in to how the engine will be run in normal conditions.
