I prefer RPM's skids and front bumper personally.

I agree with you regarding going RPM over Proline in this instance, the cost of the RPM are cheaper plus they have a lifetime warranty - break'em and RPM will send you new ones. It's really hard to beat or argue with a warranty like that.

Great find! I too prefer the rpm, but I do like the intergrated rear bumper mount on the proline. Doubt they will be as durable as the rpm though.

nice find.. I do like that rear setup though..do they make those in blue:p

I always prefer RPMs. Not because I dislike PL,no I love them, but they should stay with what they do best..creating rubber parts (tires!) and I too love PL's body designs for the Slash.

The reason I would never go with PL skiplate is..just look at that sharp angle on the rear one..that would cause the chassis to kick up when bottoming out over rough terrain. But kudos to PL, for creating an integrated bumper mount! That's a good innovative idea, rather than buying separate parts like RPM.

Take a look at RPM's design,

it's much smoother and has more rounded transition angles, this will minimize kick up. I currently use the RPM skidplates..so far they live up to the manufacturer's claim..they're that good!

No doubt :) love to see how they perform in the real world. It should be miles better than the stock one. If anybody is using them, please share your experience.
