The new Axial scaler is going to be using 1.9 inch beadlocks with Proline tires, which means proline will be entering the scale tire market, finally.

I don't know if they'll look scale or perform well, but I'm really hoping they'll do both. I thought the 1.9 inch rock claws would be the answer to my 1.9 performance needs, but I didn't think about the fact that they're using a harder compound because its a RTR vehicle. I'm hoping they'll be coming out with a softer compound soon though. So far Losi has been the leader in crawling tires, so hopefully they'll work hard to stay there, but the competition from Proline will be good for all of us crawlers.

The Tomahawks are going on the shelf queen scaler. If the Rock Claws are the right size, they'll be on the trail rig that I'll be using. I'm building one leaf sprung trailfinder long term project that will be a shelf queen, and one three link trailfinder that will be driven a good bit. Those are the plans so far, I've also got a set of the Out Croppers and a set of the Rock Creepers, so I'll be swapping them around a good bit I'm sure
