Guys.

New to the hobby and need a little help.

Just purchased a set off Badlands and Desperado's for my TMaxx. Taped the inside of the tyres up.

Come to fit the foams, trimmed the corners first. But. The foams are massive, as in I can't get them in and neat. There way wider than the tyres. Is it just a case of perseverance to get them in or do I need to cut the foams a little bit narrower?

Thanks

I've gotten a set of them for my T4 and while the 2.2's are considerably smaller they did go together pretty easy. If you get them on BE CAREFUL!! These tires give you crazy traction and constant wheelies!! IMO a great tire

It's going to be a crazy combination with the Picco Max then lol, I look forward to trying them. It's just the foams are sticking out of the tyres and I'm sure I'll struggle to fit the wheels as they are.

This is what I have now. Is it excessive? Or have I maybe not done it correctly.

I used an old set of narrower foams for mine, or you can trim off 1/2 inch of width from them. Just make sure you cut them evenly if you do.

I'd have to assume proline knows what they're doing by making them wide like that, but gluing the tires will be tricky.

That is a bit odd. Typically Prolione is ready to assemble and those foams dont look anywhere close to assembling stages yet. +1 for 2revo only you may wanna look at 1/2 to 3/4 with how much you have hanging out the tire

Yeah. I'll trim them down a little then.

Thanks.

I just purchased the same tires and they came with those same foams. I took the rim I was glueing them to, and traced a line from the inner rib. I then took a sharp knife and cut it around.

Best way I could find to make a consistent cut. Since you have taped them I would recommend balancing them as well now.

Yeah. I'll balance them up mate.

Got them on, left the foams full size. Was easier than I thought with the wheels (they arrived today)

Few quick snapshots of them fitted.

nice lookin truck! That revo wing looks sweet!

Thanks. I'll try to get out today with it to see what the Badlands are like and to see if the Offset wheels increase stability. I'm sure they will.
