I have 3.3 diffs and tranny in my 2.5 Maxx no problems. Outer driveshafts will fit and so will the rear/center with a tiny trim but the front/center is WAY longer on a 3.3. I had to cut almost an inch off the front drive to get it to fit. I had to use that style too because of the different brake set-up on the 3.3 vs the 2.5 style.

Sorry for the long time between updates. My wife hurt her hand very bad last sunday and therefore she has been off work and not able to do anything around the house. I also worked every day last week tomorrow is my next day off. I did fiddle around trying to figure out the throttle linkage, I think I might just do a direct link from the servo and eliminate the bellcrank. To do this I am going to have to find a very long throttle rod. I think a trip to the LHS is in order. I will be sure to take the maxx with me to hopefully find something long enough to work. My LHS is not really that local its close to 45 miles away. :\ I am open to any suggestions anyone might have.

The only differences between the old style and new style diffs are the amount of screws holding the cases together...the old style has 3 sctrews and the newer style has 4..
