Well got the Gravedigger about 90-95% complete over the past couple of days with minor altercations (broke a drill tonight and conveniently gashed open my finger...its just like working on real cars i tell ya)

here are some pix of what I had and what I did...I will update more here shortly but this is a start...

took the 1/2 chassis completely apart and picked the best parts out of the mass of parts I won off of ebay...This truck is def in a lot better shape than the other 1 i bought "RTR"...anyways heres some pix of unpacking it all and then to tonight...

All I have left is to install the engine, throttle linkage, steering linkage and calibrate it all...hopefully I get all of that this weekend

All the parts strown in the living room floor (only cuze the gf is out of town)

I pulled everything apart washed it...stripped the nasty green paint and painted my nice emerald green on all the suspension supports...custom made front suspension and skiddy (pix later on)

Finished Digger (body mtg at least):

I'm liking the R/C's a lot even tho I havent run them yet

Played around a little more tonight and tried out some body repairs with a can and rivets...worked out fairly decently...I just need to see how long it takes for them to pull out (may need some thin back washers to keep that from happening but for a quick cheap fix it seems like it will hold up...I tried 2 different ways and I like one that sandwiches the body best

cool cool, I'm more of a tom ments guy, but thats pretty cool

this is a nitro rustler or stampede? or am i still wrong?

stampede...fixing to head to the hobby shop today and getting everything I need (hopefully closest hobby shop is an hr away) and if my engine comes in today I will have both trucks running

Ments is good too but I grew up watching the digger and bigfoot
