Project Barney!

It has been a long time working on this project, Fine tuning it until today. Decided to post some pictures before getting the rest of the final parts. Until now, its perfectly ready to race, ride height, chamber, toe in/out all fine tuned.

Right now I'm waiting for the Alloy Camber mount and center universal swing shafts which are in the mail heading to me at this moment, all I have left to order is an Airtronics MX3 Synth Receiver 75MHz.

I decided to use the Lamborghini Murcielago body, and paint it white with Black strips! Any suggestions on a body "paint" design feel free to input, but no matter what, the base color has be white.

If you dead set on a white base coat, then I would just paint the whole body white. Putting designs/stripes, etc on a Lambo body, will not look good...
I would say try using a Pearl White, & meticulously paint all the black trimmings on the car. A slight window tint would finish it off.. Good luck..

Good looking ride. I like it. I also agree with ImBroken. Keep the Lambo a solid color. Work on painting the trim detail but keep the fancy designs to more import tuner style bodies.

Man that thing looks good, That is the r40 right, I am not a hpi fan, but love there bodies. I c its shaft driven but were is the drivetrain? good luck at the track.

That's an RS4 chassis, not the R40. I believe R40 is belt drive...

I just finished some aluminum steering upgrades and added the Hot Bodies CF upper deck to mine...

It's getting there, but nearly as much "purple" as triple M has...

Well the project has certainly moved forward, installed the center Gear mounts and Center front and rear Shafts also a MX3S syth receiver, ran it for a tank, and it’s amazingly fast and controllable around corners.

next should be getting the body, which hopefully i will be able to do this weekend and paint it.

Normaly i would be like Dude you have a purple fetish or somthing but a guy that works at my LHS has a purple Savage that would put your purple ride to shame. any wany it is still bad ass and good luck you made a good body choice.
