so I have a t maxx 2.5 put a new carburetor on a new fuel lines new spark plug and it'll start once and won't start again for about 20 minutes help me ......

just a quick question is the shut off pinched alittle? if not try richening it up i had the same thing happen with my 3.3 it wouldnt let fuel through when i leaned it i had to take it out like 4 turns then it ran great

When it starts r u able to run it around? Or does it start and die, then it dont start againg for 20 min? Little more info please...can't remember where but there is a tuning flowchart on this site..helped me with alot of my starting and dieing problems..

I can run it around once , then it dies in then it takes about 20 minutes to start again

t maxx 2.5 spur gear

i keep melting it and i do what the hoppy shop tell me to and i have melted 3 in one day and wanted to know if anyone has put a steel one. i also need to know on how to put it in and set it so i do not mass any more up

thanks byron

To the OP, how much fuel has been run through it?

A sign of a worn out engine is it starts & runs till it warms up then die's and will not restart till cold again.

Nice thread jack! You really need to start your own thread for your RC issues instead of posting your issue in someone else's. :)

You need to put new friction pegs in the spur use all 12, set the mesh correctly and tighten down the nut tight
& then back it off between 1/8~1/4 turn.
