hello you mad bashers :P has anybody else noticed a major wear in they savage diff cups or any other diff cups?? i have the hd ones and for about 4 months i had a 21 engine in it and now i have a 25 in it for about 3 months. there is so much wear in them where the dog bones clamp on them. my dog bone are hd aswell. i know they not gonna be solid but surely abit stronger from what i have. they have knocked quite a big notch in them which is giving me problems in forward when pushing as they are catching.

thanks glen :(

Those cups will wear slightly. I've had my HD ones on my Savage with the 24.7 Pro for a few gallons now and mine aren't showing any signs yet but the old ones did after about 10-15 gallons. There are several articles on Savage Central that document people attempts to fix this but I'm not sure if any have succeeded. All I do is place O-rings inside the cups to keep the dog bones from moving so much.I'm assuming it works pretty good considering I've never had a problem with mine wearing prematurely.
