My truck is having a couple problems. Starter is turning fine. Motor turns over intermitently. If i remive the glow plug, the motor turns over perfectly. Soon as I put the glow plug back in, it starts intermitent thing again. Its a 2.5

What do you mean by intermittent? It sounds like it's getting compression strokes, and then it's seems to be 'free spinning'?
If that's the case, you need to remove it and take off the EZ Start. There's a one way bearing that needs to be cleaned.
Make note of how the bearing comes out so you don't put it in the wrong way.
Slosh it around in alcohol, and blow it dry a few times. Also, use the alcohol to clean the shaft.

by intermitent, I mean, when I crank the easy start, it will turn over a few times, then "free spin" then turn over a few times, then free spin, etc.

When I try it with the glow plug out, it will turn over continuously without a problem. I was windering if the carb was clogged or something and creating a vaccum, and holding the cylinder from moving, but without the glow plug in place allows for air to enter the cylinder and not have a vaccum.

I would follow what Rolex has to say. I believe he has the answer. Besides being an RCNT Staff Memeber, he also is the resident Traxxas expert, especially with the 2.5 motors.

I agree that the one way bearing needs to be checked, especially if you do not hear any grinding noises coming from the EZ Start gear box.

I found the problem. Inside the never-EZ start one of the little plstic black pieces was cracked and causing the problems. It would turn with no pressure, but not with the pressure. Thanks guys!
