Ok I just got my 3rd tank of gas through my truck today going on fourth. Got it started and it wont move I throttle it and it wont go anywhere. I looked at the spur/clutch and it looks like the clutch is having a hard time spining the spur! The engine when it is doing this is running just fine until I throttle it the engine is trying to move the clutch/spur and when it does it does it just barely. I pick it up and set it on my stand, throttle it and it will move the wheels but seems kinda sluggish. I think it might be the flywheel or the clutch. The slipper is 1/4th the way out just as the manual says. Any input is welcomed!

*Update* I pulled off the engine and looked at the clutch/ flywheel and it acts like the shoes are not engaging. Could've gas gotten in there to make the shoes slip?

sounds like from the description you gave is that the clutch might have a problem.......check that the springs are still in place........the springs arta be the black ones if your running the stock engine.......check the shoes for wear & the cb bearings also........if ya dont find anything with that you could have sheared the pin inside the transmission on the slipper shaft........

Not that its the issue you are dealing with but to clarify, Tighten the slipper nut all the way then "back it off 1/4 turn" NOT "1/4th the way out" like mentioned above.

Does the spur gear turn freely?

Ok corrected slipper clutch and yes the spur gear turns freely and all the wheels turn when I turn the spur. I think the trans is ok, after all I havent done anything really extreme just break in procedure. Do I have to remove the pull start to get the front end stuff off? Because it has the thread locker on the screw on the front and it wont even budge.

You may have to hold the flywheel with pliers to keep it from spinning. You do not need to remove the back plate or pull start. Everything is done from the front.

is the flywheel suppost to move? Cause I can't get the screw out cause the fly wheel keeps moving on the drive shaft.

I finally could not figure it out so I took it to my local hobby shop and the flywheel was not even hooked to the output shaft. So that was my whole frickin probleum! Thanks for all your help though!
