Hey guys i have a hpi rs4 3 with picco motor. I just bought the car off my friend and i noticed when driving it there is no control. So i picked up the car and press the throttle while holding the car in the air. It looks like the rear wheels spin faster than the front. It looks like the Rear is getting about 70% power and front is getting 30% power. What can this be from? TrannY? Diff?

My CAR:

Check your deff, maybe the rears have more Deff Grease in them, maybe the front deff have broken teeth or just broken in a sence...

Now make sure you don’t drop that car while it’s sitting on the ledge lol...

One thing to also check for is loose grub screws on the outdrives on the center tranny. I managed to have one loosen up on me once and it rendered the front half of the drivetrain useless. One thing you will notice when checking the diffs is that the front diff is probably tighter than the rear. That's the way they're designed. The front has a heavy spring in the spider gears which slows the diff action making it closer to posi-traction in the front end.

hey,

definitely agree with the above...after that, check on a header for that pipe please :-) Nice ride btw
