Problem with instalation new hitec servo, help.

Hallo all,
I am instaling into my friend's Revo new digital servo hs-5925MG for throttle/break.
Now I see that hitec servo is smaller than original Traxxas servo.
Wholes for screws are not match.

Are you solving this problem? Do oyu somebody tips for me how to correctly install this smaller servo?

First thing what I have is to make adaptor from a piece of hard aluminium, but exists something at the shops?

sounds like you got a mini servo instead of a full sized one.. the servo should fit

No, I buy standard size servo, no mini. Take a look at pictures.

At Hitec pages here abou 5925 digital servo:

size is: 39 x 20 x 38mm

at Tower Hobbies here about traxxas 2055 standard servo:

size is: 40.5 x 20.5 x 36mm

But at pictures above is possible to see big difference.

the gear on the hitec is not the same size as the stock , trust me I am running the hitec servo for both steering and throttle

I understand, but how did you solve the not matching holes?
Did you make by your self some adaptor or is possible to buy something?

I had the same prob with the holes ,I just went with it , there is enough plastic there to get a bite on all the screws ,yes your right they dont line up perfectly , but it will work

don't sweat your english. we can see where you're from. you seem to be doin pretty good with it if you ask me. Better than a lot of Americans if I can be so frank.
