I tried many things to get it to start back up including changing glow plugs. And the led light on easy start still doesn't light up both lights only the motor light lights up.. Any ides what could be wrong?

I would say ditch the EZ start and get a pull start for it....cousin had the same problem on his rustler I believe his problem was 2 things wires were loose and the the connection between the hand held and the car were getting sloppy had to push the button move the hand held around till both lights lite then didnt move it from there till the car started. Just caused more head aches that anything and he got sick of carrying the thing around all day with a spare battery and have to worry about charging them

The circuit that heats the glow plug is known to fail in the ez start wand. A separate ignitor will make for quicker, easier starts and make the wand battery last longer. When/if you grab a new ignitor, get a rechargable nimh unit. Alkalines don't work very well for heating glow plugs.

I don't want to switch to pull start when i just got it for christmas and it is have problems starting i might just send it back in.. Then i will switch the engine later this year. And i don't know why the ez-start is already failing with only using it for 3 days

I had the same problem, and so have lots of others. The circuit board fails. It will still spin the motor. Disconnect the wire for the glow plug and get a separate ignitor. Problem solved.

pull start is the correct solution in my experience

i just had traxxas send me a new ez-start contoller and a glow plug hopefully this works.

can i still use the easy start as long as i get a glow plug heater? or should i just get a 3.3 revo pull start

can i still use my easy start if i get a glow plug ignitor? and would it be better to buy a pullstart?
