i just smashed in the right front of my tmaxx and noticed something. not from the wreck, but something else looking at the damage. ill try to explain this the best i can. on the bottom arm the suspension is connected to, that arm is connected to the body at 2 points the one closer to the bumper is a screw or something and the one closer to the back is connected with a ??? i thought there was a pin there but there isnt anything there anymore, on either the right side of the car or the left side. it just hangs there. i remember there used to be a pin or something there i think cause once i had to push it in cause it was keeping the steering from turning so i pushed it in and it was fixed. but i think both the pins fell out and i dont know why. so if anyone has something to say about this please tell me.

Your talking about hinge pins. If you have stock a arms and bulk heads, they screw into place. Get some before running again.

The way the arms are mounted on a stock maxx is with a screw in hinge pin. If you look at the a arm from the front, you should see what looks like a phillips screw head. This will actually be a screw in hinge pin that is only threaded a few mm at the end closest to the screw head. It inserts through the front of the arm, goes through both the arm and bulkhead and should protrude slightly out the back of the arm. You will not see a screw on the back side of the arm.

ok i figured it out, i guess it just broke into pieces and that piece fell out. crappy made piece.... i bought new ones hopefully they are stronger. crappy traxxas ripin me off piece after piece :'(

Like any other machine, they break down.. and more so when you wreck them.
