i got my AE RC10GT finally running again and it seems to me that the idle is too high but i turned the idle screw on the carb and its still high. it has a high idle and wants to take off when I'm not hittin the throttle and i have to hit the brakes so it wont move i never had this problem b4 so i dont kno how to deal with it or fix it!! help would be appreciated..thx!!

Adjust your throttle linkage. take of your air filter and watch what happens when you work the throttle from idle to brake positions. You'll see the problem.

+1 Check your carb with the filter off. You want a 1-2mm gap when the throttle is at the "closed" position.
