Are the 40 series a good tire and if I was bashing what tire would be the best for all around terrain.

I personally dont like them anymore... i got rid of all of mine except for the bowties... I like the looks of the standard size, and dont mind the handling differences...

.21Rc10GT what wheels are you using for the bow ties and are the bow ties a good bashing tire.

The bowties are pretty much for racing, because they do wear out kinda fast, and their low sidewalls make them bad for jumping... I use white dish rims on mine.

o would have to say pro-line maxx mashers
just a thought

what about Moab or some Big Joe's are they any good and this would be for bashing on all types of surfaces(pavement, grass, mud.)

what upgrades do you suggest and what size or the white dishes for your truck normal or the 23mm HD ones.

I can't say what is nessecary and what isnt, because i dont know exactly. I think the diffs and hubs need to be upgrades. I like the 23mm rims. I think they are more heavy duty and give more durability.

ye, the 40s are very big, give a massive rolling diameter so the top end goes up but acceleration goes down, big joes give mega traction and look massive, nothing seems to stop them at all. not so sure about howwell the drive train will cope though, prefer standard size rims or revo ones myself and they've taken everything thrown at them so far

What do you guys think of the Cheyenne 23mm wheels.

I just got a set from Imbroken with 40 series Maxxers and the 23mm adapters for my savage. They hook up great on all terrain, and they look great. Haven't really beat em hard yet, but seem to be very tough.

I run aluminum wheels and bow ties. Your tire choice should be decided upon your terrain, if you run on the street and cut donuts the bow-ties or hole shots are not for you. However are great on the track and grass.

All I run on is grass or dirt. (because grass and dirt are more forgiving than concrete when it comes to wrecking)

i have the cheyenne 23mm hd, they work fine but i have a mach 26 conver.which come with cvd

Atye, Do you have any pics of your truck with the hd's on it? I would like to see how they look!

I have 40s on all of my truck. I took them off my sons tmaxx . they got to much grip on black . I am going to try revo tires on my MGT and Tmaxx tires on my savage .
