I Placed a order for a hitech 645 tonight, I read I need a better saver. I have a older max and are all the stock savers the same ? I seen 124 Kimbrough is what most people use. My saver has one spot on top where a screw/ bolt goes threw then the saver goes on the servo. I looked over a pic of the black 124 saver and it has a bunch of smaller holes. Do I need new linkage?

You can upgrade to the later model 4907 steering bell crank setup
pick one up off ebay for like 6 bucks and it has an integrated servo saver

cool, i seen that. Would the stock servo saver work with the water proof servo and i think they have a non water proof servo ? 2075 and 2070?

All Traxxas stock servo savers will work with any traxxas servo.

You will need a different servo horn or saver for the HiTec (HiTec-24T) (Traxxas/Futaba- 25T)

cool, i was just unsure if the stock saver would work well with even with the cheaper upgrade such as the non water proof traxxas servo. I think its 125 torque but its plastic gears. If the stock saver can be used i might get one, i had to cancel the order for the hitec servo. Seller had it new in box but untested and it was 3.00 less then what they go for . I should have my money back in 3-5 days and i was thinking of just getting something to get me by well i can save up for the new linkage/and even a better servo then the Hitec i was looking at.
