ATT: Revo with reverse

I dropby at my LHS and pick up a FOC set, i ve been reading some post from other forum about FOC and the main problem they have with reverse is destroying ther primary gear, thats the reason why they do the FOC, my question is- How do you destroy a primary gear???

More than likely if the opit-drive module is removed. The revo will still be functional. Without an opti-drive to stop the servo switching from forward to reverse it can be done bu accident on the controller and destroy it.

so messed up primary gear is most likely human error? not by bad design of the reverse? i plan on keeping the reverse but removing the opti drive.

Well by removing the opti-drive you run the risk of bumping the switch by accident and blowing out your transmission.. so that's your call.

I've been doing it for about 6 months now, and so far so good. The problem is letting friends run it and them not fully stopping before shifting :/
