I'm thinking heavily about selling my shelfed-out t-maxx.

DON'T FLAME ME I'm not trying to sell it here.

Here's the list of stuff I have on it.

RPM A-Arms (All 8)
Proline Silverado body
TRX Aluminum front bulkheads
Integy Super Duty Chassis
Integy Aluminum rear bulkheads
Hardcore Racing Lower Braces
Aluminum Wheels
Aluminum Skid Plates
RCS Roll Cage
Proline Power Stroke Shocks
Proline Bowties
Picco .21 engine
Airtronics MX-A Radio
Hitec 645MG Steering Servo
Ofna Servo Saver
Carbon Brake Disc
Ofna Air filter
Transmission Guard
Forward Only Conversion
MIP Exhaust system
OFNA fuel filter
Venom Failsafe
Venom RX Pack
Sanyo TX Pack
Roto-Start System

Engine has only two tanks through it. It has sat on a shelf and has never been bashed/wrecked. This truck doesn't have a scratch on it.

that's what is making me not want to sell it.

the LHS offered me $800 for it.

Pierow, this thing is almost new. Stock they cost 400

take the 800 you will never get more than that for it.....trust me I tried selling mine....it's not unscathed but it's all about performance and every part is in perfect working condition....I couldn't get 500 for it........

I did too...makes a great park trip toy since mine still has EZ start on it.....less equipment to carry....

there is an all aluminum maxx on ebay now for 2400 put it up there with a reserve of like 1000 it will sell.. call it a "show" truck

Yeah, either take $800 or keep it. These things arent nearly as valuable as the parts are...

I can't imagine you getting more that 800. I have seen complete supermaxxes on ebay for 800-1000, and that is well over 2000 in parts.
good luck!!!

The parts are worth more individually than as a whole.

Parting it out is the only way to make any decent money out of it.

If someone offered me $800 for my Maxx I put $2000 into, I would have taken it without a second thought.

$800.00 sounds like a great deal! It sounds like a great truck but now with the Revo on the market the T-Maxx is not as desirable anymore. Plus the majority would spend $335.00 on a new Maxx and hop it up themselves. :2cents:

well, the owner of the LHS said he couldn't build it cheaper than that at HIS cost. My point is, If HE is willing to pay me that for it, than someone else without the ability to get parts much cheaper would take the opportunity to get an already fully hopped up truck for a deal, but not raping me in the process.

Hey give me their number and I'll see if he wants to buy mine for that....lol....it's got way too much in it for me to deal w/ anymore...I tried asking about parting it out and only got 2 offers on stuff...I'd hate to have a half parted out truck and be stuck w/ all the leftover parts...

Perhaps, but however it is still a T-Maxx. As someone else mentioned, with the release of the Revo and other MT's, the T-Maxx just is not a popular as it used to be.

I miss my tmaxx.

I want to build up a phase 5 but I just got a buggy, and I need to give it some time and love... also (this is the best part) I just discovered a track out in the middle of nowhere (not far from me) and it looks awesome!!

Check this out :

I can't wait to get out there and run!!!
