OK guys, I've read alot of posts on tools... I'm in the market for a nice PRO set of Hex drivers.. I was looking at the Prospec tools by Mugen, but the price is just too high..
The two sets I've been looking at, are made by HUDY & PRP.. If anyone has any links or recommendations, please chime in.. I'm looking to spend under $100, for a nice full, quality set of Metric/Standard drivers..

I use the Losi tools and love them. Never had a problem with them and they feel good to work with.

honestly, go hudy. and dont get the nice machined handles either, they cut into your hand. get the plastic handled ones, they are just as durable, and they just feel sooooo nice in your hand, plus you can torque down really nice with them. i have a full set of dynamites, metric hudy's and have used the losi tools, and duratrax (actually nice tools if on a budget) i love the duratrax engine tuning screwdriver BTW.

I got the Integy ones and the Hudy ones...I keep th ehudy ones at home cause the handles are round and like to roll off the pit table...but they are larger diameter and easier to break free stuff sealed in w/ locktite.....I like the integy ones too just didn't want to loose my nice set at the track...that's the only reason I got them...

I've got the old red handled dynamite set - They work nice, even though I've got a raging case of Carpal Tunnal (occupational hazzard).

Well, I have 1 real rc tool. lol. A dynamite driver. I like how the bits are interchangable, and I like the way it feels (cept when applying extreme pressure for those determined lil sob screws...) And due to the design, it doesn't roll off the table.
But anyway, I do need to buy a set of rc tools as well, and I'm on a budget, so I might give the duracrap ones a look. :hammer:

Also, I think the distributor for Hudy is a company called "RC America"

I have both the Huddy and Red handled Dynamite sets both in standard and metric. Honestly I like them both. The Huddy handles feel good but I like the shorter shafts in the Dynamite units. I have broken the tips on the 2 smallest Huddy drivers twice and have never broken one on the Dynamite units.

IMO its a toss up. If you like longer shafts go Huddy they feel great. If durability on the smaller ones and price is an issue Dynamites are great. ( I bring the Dynamites to the track )

I forgot to mention Wiha drivers. They are very high quality and inexpensive. I have a few and love them. They feel nice in your hand, and they have the little spinner thing at the tops of the drivers.

I do not have the hex drivers tho, so I cannot comment on those very much.
But they are made in Germany (which means high quality). The only problem really is they can roll off the table. Which happens fairly frequently to me, so I loose them, then get real frustrated because I love those tools so much. lol.
But, I have found that they are kind of made for smaller hands, but I don't really have small hands and they're fine for me. But if you have big hands, then I'd reccomend something w/ a bigger handle.

After seeing how inexpensive they are, I now plan to buy a set myself.

I pick up a set of RD Logics' and use it everyday. The set still holding up prett good.

Just picked up the Team Integy 7-piece set and I like them. On the larger sizes, the handles are bigger and very comfortable. The only thing I've seen is that I twisted the .050" tip tightening a wheel collar. I don't know if this is common, but it still works fine. Otherwise I love them. I think I paid $40 for the set of 7 with shipping.

I have a set of the red dynamites and also like them. The tips are still sharp and the handles are comfortable to grip, although a little small to be perfect. The flat edge of the handle keeps it on the table and off the ground.

I also have a Losi driver and the handle is very comfortable, but this one tends to roll off the table easily.
