preload collar stuck

Ok so good news is I got a jato 3.3 today (for free!!!!) to add to the collection to bring it up to a total of two nitro trucks now I got it lightly used bodies a lil ruff and wheely bars missing but nothin big there, as motor pinch feels almost brand new
The bad news is the back right shock cap popped off whenever the guy last ran it causing oil to get all over it and stick tons of dirt to it I've cleaned it with a cloth and a lil water but I can't for the life of me get the collar to unscrew its in the top most position any advice or particular lubricant to free it up? Also what's the best way or tool to grab the plastic body with to get a good grip so I won't damage the shock body? Thanks in advance

Their stuck that bad? Id say try a pair or two of plyers, maybe just throw a rag around the body so it doesn't scratch and try that.

Yea its that bad lol I grabbed it with two sets of channel locks with a rag around the base and wouldn't budge still had it grabbed tight enough that even with a towel around it it shaved a layer of plastic off the base lol but last night I soaked it in oil and it finally busted loose this mornin with the same tequnique looks almost like the guy mighta gotten some ca glue on it but I sanded the base lightly so it was smooth where the pliers got it but its workin and moving fine now thanks
Next thing now is finish cleanin and get sway bars for it anyone got an extra set layin around?

My guess is I need everything I gotta pull up the expanded view but I wanna say last time I checked it didn't have the mounts either but its got rpm a arms all around so I think I've actually gotta drill em out to mount them lookin for threads on it now
