We've got about a 6 hour drive, so we probably wont be in until after lunch. When we get there Mom has a doctors appointment, so tomorrow just isn't a good day. I'll be coming back in a week or two though, and spending some more time. I just happen to have a girl over there in Houston, so I'm going to be visiting her quite a bit too. My girl, and two out of my four crawling buddies are in Houston, so I see myself spending quite a bit of time there in the future.

Charlie, I will be praying for you and your mom.

Grrlracer, your husband is in my prayers. PM me his name.

Rolex, I will be praying for you too buddy.

hey Charlie, sorry for the late response, but like the rest of us, i'll keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers.

Charlie, like I said in Grrlracers thread, I'm not much on religion, but I have a strong belief and I'll be keeping 3 of our members/families in my thoughts and prayers. Yourself, Rolex and Grrlracers.

Charlie, Wish you the best. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rolex and Grrlracer.

Here for ya if ya need anything.

Add me to list as well charlie.... Hang in there buddy. Were here for you. My thoughts and prayers as well.

Tom

Wishing the very best for you and your mom Charlie.

Rolex I hope the ear reduction surgery goes well. Only joking of course, you are in my thoughts too buddy.

LMAO, sweetdiesel. Just don't make me laugh for a week or two after tomorrow.
I'm honored to be part of the RCNT family, and I'm so thoroughly thankful for the thoughts and prayers from all of you.

I hope everything goes well Charlie, you and your mom will be in my prayers!

Just an update for you guys, Mom is in a pre-surgery room waiting on them to come get her for the epidural, and surger will be in about 2 hours. You don't know how much your prayers mean to me, and for the guys that aren't praying, I really appreciate your thoughts and showing that you care. I'll get back to you guys with another updates as soon as I can.

Hey, Charlie...

It's thursday and I just read this thread... I hope things are going okay for your mom. The support system here is great, and I hope your anxiety is at a tolerable level.

All the warmest blessing for you today......

~NitroMistress..

Well thanks to all your thoughts and prayers, things are going ok so far. Mom just now got finished with the surgery, and she now
has about 3 hours of recovery. Just wanted to let you guys know what was going on.

Good to hear Charlie.

glad to hear that charlie, atleast some of the suspense is off now.

Well Mom is now in her room and getting settled in. Once I saw that they had her taken acre of and she got ready to settle down for the night, I left her there with my step-dad, so I could come back to the room and take the dog to do "his business" outside and things like that. We've been up since 4 this morning, so I'm absolutely whipped, not to mention that I've been up for two weeks not sleeping because I was worried. It's a good thing for all of the RC guys though, because while I wasn't sleeping I was up designing and testing my new line of RC parts.

I told Mom about the AMAZING respsonse that I got from you guys, and she asked me to please tell each and every one of you that she thanks you from the bottom of her heart. Because of all of the prayers and the care that you guys put into this, the operation went off without a hitch, and the doc said that this was one of his best operations yet, and it was even the quickest one that he's done because everything went to smoothly. Mom didn't think it was smooth when she was hitting the paint button every 15 seconds (it will only dispense every 10 minutes, so she kept telling them that her "fuel line" was kinked or needed a new filter. I wonder why I'm such a gearhead? The doc even asked her for her permission to use the "after" x-ray in a text book that he's writing on this certain medical procedure, because its the best example of a "picture perfect" knee replacement when you look at the placement of the synthetic parts.

Once again, thank you to all the members that gave me your full support throughout this entire ordeal. There's no question in my mind about why this is the best internet forum there is, period.

well thats great news charlie, I'm glad she made it without any problems. how long you guys gonna be in houston?

I'm going to have to go back home in the next day or two because there's not anyone at home to take care of the animals, things like that. I will be coming back pretty soon though most likely.
