Ok...wanna give us more information like what the problem is? Can't help if I don't know. My crystal ball is out of order and the magic 8-ball just keeps saying "Maybe"

i i have massed up 3 spur gears in one day and can not find out what i am doing i melted all them to and i want to get a steel one but do not know how it would work

Stay away from steel, they cause more problems than they are worth in my opinion, if you have the mesh set correctly then a spur will last a good while,When you mount the spur gear take a piece of paper and run between the gears, if you get a constant smooth "teeth" pattern your good to go, there shouldnt be any resistance when you spin the spur gear once the engine is remounted..... look up how to videos on youtube, they will clearly explain how to set your mesh.

Where are they melting? If it's the middle it is a slipper issue, if it's the outer it's a gear mesh issue. Either way it can't be solved by just putting on a metal spur gear, a metal gear could actually make it worse by ruining other stuff.
