Why does the power all of a sudden cut out at a high speed? The truck is running rich, and it is still cutting out.

put your needles at factory breck-in settings and start from there

Normally, cutting out at high speed/high RPM is due to running it too lean. Are you sure you're not just rich at idle and possibly lean at high speed?

Go with Mike C's suggestion - set back to factory defaults and start over.

everything is rich....even when I "floor" the trigger, the power cuts out. I do not think it is a good idea to go back to factory settings, as it is pretty cold here, like 45 or 50 degrees or so. It is running real rich...should I richen the low speeed needle? it is already 1/3 turn rich from factory settings.

I'm going to venture to say that you are running to rich as well. Bog Bog Bog stall........ kind of thing. DONT touch your LSN. Instead, just work with the HSN. Go with 1/8th turns IN at a time and see how it reacts. This should solve your problem. If not, richen the HSN 1/8th at a time and see where she goes from there. Regardless, if your low end performance is where you want it, then dont touch your LSN.

Try try and try again.......
