Ummm is there really a point to this thread. You shouldn't run your car over 250 really

but it run so good at 280

when i first start out on a full tank it runs about 250 . then at half tank i check the temp and it running 270 . buy the end of tank it reads 300 +
when i richen it up. on the hsn she runs to rich ? blubbery. buy the way i got savage 25 rtr. moter saver air filter . other than it's stock. should i mess with the lsn? its all new to me. any help for this dumb ass!

It depends on your ouside temp too. I read somewhere you shouldn't be more than 120° above ambient. So if it is 40° F and you are hitting 300, thats bad. Set your hs for 240-250°, and lean out your ls to clean up the blubber.

If that's true then if it's 40 outside you shouldn't be above 160! Hogwash!

Yeah I know that doesn't seem right. I'm trying to remember where I saw that and check it again.

You can actually cause damage to an ABC Nitro engine by running it too cool.

The tapered bore of the ABC engine doesn't reach proper dimensions until it's up in temperature. If ran too cool, premature wear is caused by being too "tight".

Contact your engine manufacturer for the optimal temp at which you can start doing WOT runs.

My 25 likes temps in the 240-280 degree range, so far, depending on air variables. I tune it for optimal performance with optimal oiling.

Here's good reading on the subject.

Waste Land,

If you want to call someone out, do it elsewhere. Any more posts of this nature and we'll need to talk.

Hopefully we are clear as crystal here.

Why? Because, as far as I can see this is clearly a case of the pot calling the kettle black...and you sure are in no place from which to judge good or bad grammar.

It was just messing around man, i wasn't trying to start anything, I've seen Error 401 mention somethign about someones grammar in the past and nothing is said and he said something about liek I did. I may have had some trouble before but I don't see how that post really affended or flamed him. It was just a joke.

Error is one of those moderator types and on top of that he has good grammar skills. So far, you haven't demonstrated the good grammar thing. When you get a reputation for having piss poor writing skills and then you go and "jokingly" fire a shot about someone else's grammar...well it is just plain stupid (in my opinion).

As I said it was just a damn joke. I may not have perfect grammar skill and its not the hugest deal but you are getting all over me for somethign thats really not that big a deal

I appreciate that it was a joke. I will also do you the favor of continuing this discussion off the board. Please read your PMs. Peace.

That's NA's department. Though there was a thread about the english language that I commented upon. Feel free to check it out. I usually don't bust on users about how they type, I'm just glad they try to input.
