Hi,I haven't seen a thread like that before and I think that it would be great if people could send some pictures of they machines and show us what they change etc and just to show off cause for sure few people here got some hot rides :D
I will post mine when I will get it,maybe even in this week.

Actually, there is a T Maxx pic thread in the T Maxx forum, a LST pic thread in the Losi LST forum, and a Savage pic thread in the HPI Savage forum. If WoodiE doesn't have a problem with another Monster pic forum, then I am sure we can accommodate you...

yes I know that they are pic's forum for other cars but not for large scale.
and I would love to see pics of large scale vehicles of RCNT members.

I am trying to think if anyone here has a 1/5th Monster. I seem to recall someone talking about a Redcat...

I can not wait to see some of these pics!

hmm, that must be me..:D.. these are 2 of my "monsters". redcat rampage mt(rage) and my redcat rampage tt(torment). the mt is loaded with alum and a sick mill. the tt is simply disturbing. i'll have some good video with the upgraded motors tomorrow. i also have a 5bss, but its boring and sits on the shelf.
its hard to see how large it really is, but my mt is bigger then my 60lbs dog(and faster)

I need to repaint it, lol.

So itsalifeworthlive, I plan on starting back up in this hobby in the summer. I'm going to buy a gasser and forget about Nitro and Electric, My LHS has parts for all the redcat stuff as well as the HPI Baja stuff. They carry both the Rage and Buggy and the Baja 5B in their store, what would you recommend me to get.

i would recomend the buggy. its faster and more durable. the body looks funny, but it will grow on you. the mt(truck) tires are soo heavy and large that they tend to break parts like difs and arms and the mt body isnt good eaither. when 30lbs come crashing down on it it will break even with a HUGE motor in the mt its still sluggish couse of the tire size. you should hop on the "other" forum and check us out. any info you need is there. only fith scale redcats!! also make sure you get the upgrade kit. its only $50 and comes with (4)extra arms, upgraded diff, drive cups, upgraded gear plate, springs and much more stuff thats good to have. the (2)stock drive gears melt after the first few tanks, about 3 hours of run time, but the upgrade is only $12.00 and I've had mine for 15+ tanks. it does need a very little bit of upgrading out of the box, but its all cheap stuff and even better if the hobby shop can get it.. redcat has a full line of great alum parts that are pretty cheap and industructable. if you do go this route you will find its cheaper then nitro!!
here is a link the the redcat forum,(its managed by rcnt) I'm kryptonite..

here are some vids to get you motivated!!
when the vid says 3 tanks, that almost 3 hours of straight running.. do that with a nitro..lol
here is the "box stock" tt. it now has a pipe and will lay 4wd rooster's on the pavement.. no joke

Before I saw Itsalifeworthliving's Redcats I would have heartily recommended the Baja, if not for durability then purely for the styling. Now I'm not so sure. Those Redcats look pretty durable and the 4wd is definitely a plus.

I'd still go Baja though simply because it's what I got :D

you telling me that now...$400 it's nothing for 5b...
too bad you live in USA and I already got my self another Revo.

I can't get the motor to turn over..... and i got it for $500, so a guy localy wants it, and i dont have the room, nor the time to get it running and play with it. Damn economy is so bad, we have a hiring freeze, and lots of people recently retired, so we are working ourselves to death to cover everything. I might do a trade with him for some stuff instead, like a brushless boat or somthing, just gotta talk to him and see what he wants to do.

Definitely a Baja 5T with a 26cc mill...this thing is amazing, more power than you need, incredibly good looking and a real piece of art (and engineering).

Check my PICS (that was before I started to drive it) on the thread " pictures of the new baja 5t - HELP" under "Large Scale".

Enjoy.

comon novak, post up some pics over here in the monster section!! 5t is pretty wild. had a few 5b's and after the summers end i think i will see if i can get a 5t.. they are really wild, but i love the 4wd
