well, like any other method of locking your diffs, it will increase climbing action but your turning radius will get bigger.
 
You would not want that when racing. It will cause to go move slower. Locking the rear diff is helpfull when you are trying to drag race or always off roading. Also if you have a space diff you can put JB weld in the cup you can also put some diif grease in your cup so it will act more like a locked diff.
 
I HAD a Monster Locker in the rear end of my savage..and as soon as it was in..i started going through dog bones like no tomorrow.I don't race..just bash,and it was amazing the take off..and the coming out of corners was awesome also..but any type of air with my kind of landing..... as soon as the spinning tire hits the ground..you can here the snap.
I switched back to a heavily grease and oil mixture in a alum case..kinda acts the same..but with a little give when needed.
