i need to know whats up with the ports on the engine is more ports better or is less ports better.i know i sound stupid.trying to but a new motor.want the picco.26.but my money is funny. HELP!!thought about axail.28.or any suggestion puttin it in the revo3.3

more ports mean top end or how does it go.and what is the name for a good cheap motor for the money

Ya if you have a big open track you would want a motor with more ports but for a short tight track a lower number of ports is what you want more port = more top end less ports = more bottom end and the diffrence can be like 4 ports compared to 9 ports and everything in between hope that helps you out
