Hey guys, when i run my car for more than 8-10 minutes, i start to hear a repetitive noise, sort of popping, and the little cog attachted to the clutch is moving a little every time the noise pops, its repetitive and is the sort of rythm like a slowed down gun noise. so, i think it may be overheating?
Its an Ansmann Virus Buggy, 1/8th. DONT MOVE THREAD PLEASE.
With a .21 force engine, and a stock clutch, its also 4wd.
Any ideas?
Matt.

Don't know if this is your particular issue or not. But I once went to purchase a used first gen LST that had the same issue you describe. Upon further investigation, both diff housings were cracked, and that was the source of the clicking / popping sound. Wouldn't do it until you applied power to it.

lets hope that there is not something in the engine that shouldn't be.

on my rush evo one time i kept hering a clicking noise that went faster as i sped up on furver inspection it seemd to be the spur gear but i coudent see anything in it but stoped it anyway went in the house took it off the spur gear to see if anything behind it was making the noise then i had a rely good look at the gear and i found a stone that was the exsact same shape as the gear and then got pushed in by the clutch
