PM isnt working

When I go to the front page it says "You have recieved 1 new PM since your last visit to this website" but when I go to my PM's there isnt a new message and the thing on the front page stays the same. Help!

For some reason it stays there even after u check ur pm until u re-log on. Bring it up in the suggestion forum

That doesn't happen to mine. I just look at it right away and bam, it dissappears.
