hi guys

i hope you can help me with a few questions i have.

1) whats better/faster. engine with 1.5hp @ 33,500 rpm
or an engine with 1,5hp @ 39000rpm.
whats the difference if an engine has that hp on low or on high rpm.

2) what engine you think is best.

it needs to be put in a trinity g4
iam gonna race it on track but not profesional. only against a friend of mine.
there are only 1:10 electic races at my track, no nitro

the engine needs to be fast but below 200 dollar.

if you guys know any other engine that is worthy and below 200, plz let me know

The more rpms there are usually means how much top end ity has. And the more top end equals more speed. Out of those motors, i would go with the O.S.. Very reliable, easy tuning, made by one of the best maunfacturers out there.

in that case. the os has better low end and is faster of the line with his 1,5hp @33,500 rpm then the orion one with 1,5 hp @ 39000?

You are talking about such as small difference only the best of racers would feel a difference and since a lot of nitro racing has to do with how well you can tune, you would never notice the difference in the .12 category, most likely. I would get the OS. The HPI is the cheapest, but not the most powerful.

You really can't go wrong with an OS... Dependable, quality & easy to tune for the most part..

i think il go with the os engine but a different one. just spoted an OS 12 engine 5 ports 1,62hp for 220 dollar.
same price as the 3 ports. 20 dollar above budget but hell. 20 dollar is wel worth it :smoke:

gonna order it from tower hobbies.

hope my g4 wil blast away my friend's ntc3
