plz help. carb question!

I just bought a buggy off of a guy and took it to the track today to see how it would run. It ran pretty good but when I brought it in I noticed that there was a lot of fuel and dirt around and at the bottom of the carb. I could actually see a little liquid in the gap where the carb goes into the engine. How can I fix this as I have never had to do this before. Thanks for all the help on this site guys.

loosen the nut and push the carb down in as far as it will go and tighten back up while holding the carb. If that doesn't work, try a little bit of RTV to help seal the carb. be careful not to get any anywhere other than in the gap. Or you could get a new gasket and try that too.
