Hey guys,
Just got a XTM 5 cell hump pak for my Savage, and I noticed that when i tried to replace it with the original battery pak, the connectors dont plug together. Does anyone know what kind of wire/plug thingy u need to put then together?

You can simply cut the red plug off the savage battery pack and then wire it onto the XTM pack. Make sure you do one wire at a time and don't let them touch while you are working.

I use some heat shrink tubing to finish off the job. You can find it at any hardware store or radio shack, it's about $2.

In the end your hump pack will have the red stock connector and the xtm connector on it. Having both connectors on the pack will be beneficial. You can simply plug the red connector into the on/off switch on the truck. Then you can use the XTM connector whenever you need to charge the battery pack.

If its anything like my hump packs then you just need to remove the plastic on the connector wich is not in use. Mine (both) had three ports on the plug but they only use two (one for pos one for neg), I just used a hobby knife and then it fit.
