Without a nekkid shot, it's hard to say. I'd have to guess at a Tamiya, but more likely it could be a Kyosho too.

It sure looks like a Tamiya, but I seem to recall the same car coming up a few years ago. Everything in the pic looks like a Tamiya Grasshopper or Frog. Grasshopper had a solid rear end, and the Frog had independent suspension.
The side tanks on the body is what I don't recognize.
Can you get more pics? Body off, top shots and rear shots.

I have trolled through a bunch of links at this site, but am growing tired.

You might find your ride in here. I think it is an old Tamiya baja rc or an old Traxxas buggy. Both companies have rcs with the kind of body style. My money is on it being a Tamiya.

It screams Tamiya for me. I want to say a Fox but i need to see more!!!

NVM its not it...

Do you have that image any larger? Send it my way if you do.

thats all i got, those were strait off his post. i havent talked directly to him yet.

If he answers up...a larger image...or one without the lid and larger would be most helpful. At this point, anything we provide would be nothing more than a really good guess. Sorry...

i wasn't expecting much, just guesses. he hasnt responded. i was hoping for a vintage tamiya so i could rebuild. someone on here had a couple and there were mint. i got jelouse... lol
