Well right now I have two buggies. I only need one and am selling the Ofna Ultra MBX soon. Its used and RTR and I'm hoping to get 200-250$ from it...anyway, I want to put this money into a new engine and maybe a pipe for my X-Terminator Deluxe. I am not a racer, but I would like some good top end power, with ok torque. Mainly looking for top end becuase I have my 24.7 which has loads of bottom.

So, I was thinking a .21. I have been looking at the FR .21. I really want an engine that is fairly easy to tune. I had a Wasp .28 and did fine with that and I'm not a noob, I just like to tune it once, and oly have to do minor adjustments later...lazy is all lol. I would like it to be a standard plug, just cause I have a few plugs that are standard. Although I could do a turbo if I had to. Don't really want to go Italian, I mean I'm only bashing and I don't want to spend the $ on that. I have heard the RGs lack in power and really don't want one of those, I want something with a lot of high end. What do you guys think of the FR .21? Others I should look into? I'm trying to stay under $200 so I can possibly get a new pipe to go with it. Thanks guys!

The collari B3 is right around 200 and most racers say that the power is compareable to the OS VZ01-b, believe me those things scream!

But that ends in like an hour, too bad. Don't have that cash right now. I really like the B3, plus I can get it from Bruce, always a plus :) I still like that FR .21, a bit cheaper...

check the thread started by ofnabuggybasher its in general chaos about buggy engines, sombody posted something about fantom engines.

Thanks vb. Looks like either the B3 or the Fantom depending on how much I can get for my Ofna. Have any idea how the tuning is for the B3? plaidfish said the Fantom is a little tricky...

With the first gen of the b3 they had carb problems, but they have since changed to composite and have gotten much better.

Ok cool, I just put up my buggy for sale, as soon as that sells I'll bet me an engine lol.

Just making a little correction incase he didnt find it.

Yea I got that, and I checked out your thread OBB, good info in there. The FR .21s seem like they may be hard to tune, but I guess when you get a race .21 they are all gunna be a bit tricky to tune. Anyone have others I should look at?
