Hi all first post...
I have tried to identify this myself looing at schematics etc but still am not sure what model it is. The reason is that I need to order some parts for it, in particular the steering bellcranks, but all the ones that I have looked at do not quite match... the one I have has a spring mounted inside. All I know is that it's not a newer model. Help!!:dumb:

Thanks for the quick answer.

Any idea what year it is or where I can get a link for schematics or parts?

take a picture of the body post mounts..... i was told mine was most likely a 1999 because of the lack of cross mounts on the body mounts

Here is a picture of the front body post mounts... hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the eBay link.
What pics would help?

Will take some tomorrow in better light... thanks everyone for all the help so far.

That explains everything...:whhooo: just ordered the parts I need on eBay. Now I know what it is, including why it has an HPI Racing body on it, but uses mostly older Traxxis T-Maxx parts on it. Yikes that made my head hurt... not understanding why I couldn't find the parts when it wasn't a Traxxis in the first place.

I think it is funny that they have the dam tires on backwards for the main picture of the truck.....:D

Thank you. :first_place: You helped out a lot with this info.

That is a Smartech T maxx clone.

Parts are going to be hard to come by, the US dist. is closed up & most of the links on the MFG page lead to sites that don't seem to have it either.

Might try looking at 1/8 scale buggies bell crank or try a Maxx bellcrank on it.

Wow did u read the starting instructions? Is that a plane engine or diesel?
