Sorry for long post, My son wants to start racing so we picked up a used Losi 8ight xe elite. It has a spectrum 1900kv motor and matching esc with a 4 cell battery, 15 tooth pinion gear and 47 tooth spur gear. Needless to say I thought I bought a race car but problem is my stock arrma typhon 3s will absolutely smoke this Losi which I’m sure it should not. Problem is I don’t know the first thing about rc cars. I don’t mind putting money into it but not blindly. I would greatly appreciate any advice I can get.
