Some of you that know me or been here a while have seen my threads on jumping stuff at my Church for the kids in our VBS program. Well, now they're having a Fall Family Roundup and I have been asked once again if I would do some stunts for them. Seems that many of the adults like it as well as the kids

I'm not sure what I'll try to do but I am fixing up the Savage a bit for this event. I am finally going to run the body I had NCNitro do for me. I also have some new tires and wheels that have been sitting around for while so I'm going to use them and switch out the Fantom pipe for a Hot Bodies "Hot Rod" pipe that I already had too.

I just blew out a diff at the VBS program a few weeks ago and twisted off yet another dogbone. So I rebuilt/shimmed the diff and found these Titanium dogbones. Check them out, they are a full 5mm diameter with no undercut on the end like the heavy duty HPI dogbone(top in the picture) which is 4.5mm and undercut to 4mm on the end. Wonder how long the diff will last now :whhooo:

The bottom pic is how she looks with the new body, pipe and tires mounted. I gave the wheel wells and bumpers some monster truck trimming and had to cut some relief for the pipe braces. Hopefully there will be a video of whatever stunts I do. Until then - enjoy these pics :)

Nice looking paint job. And get some video of what you are doing at the church. Always love seeing some bashing.

Tonight was the night for our Fall Roundup. I ended up having to use stock Maxx tires and wheels, the other pair of tires I ordered didn't come in like they should have. I bought off eBay form a seller in KC,only 2 1/2 hrs away. He charged me $13 for shipping but sent them Parcel Post and delayed shipping them at that

The new body came out practically unscathed but the TVP suffered some major damage. I don't even remember landing bad enough to cause the damage though  It stripped all the screws out of the tranny too. :\ Also had problems with the new pipe mount and header spring. The pipe was knocked loose several times, the last time it kept running(leaning out!) but I just ran it until I damaged something big. Here's a couple of pics to tide you over,I'll have a video up in a few days. My son tried the same stunts with his Slash,so it'll be a decent vid when I get it posted. :)

I literally upgraded my trans case to the X-style tonight, so I have a stock case sitting here that's in perfect shape. Yours for shipping if you don't have a spare...
