Piston & Sleeve hunt

I have a team orion wasp 26 for my savage and the piston and sleeve has finally worn out. iv tried to look up team orion to hear they don't exist any more. some tell me that picco p/s is the same. can anyone confirm this or tell me how to get my hands on a p/s for a wasp 26.:\

If everything is still in good condition why not get your piston and sleeve re pinched .I had mine done by rc renew with good results and it only cost about 30 dollars

Naw. It has to be new. nothing like that feeling, break-in process and all...

You have to break in a re pinched sleeve .
older engines are a pain to get parts for even the picco .26max is very hard to find parts for and by the time you find them you could buy a new engine , an lrp .28 is quite cheap and plenty powerful

If this doesn't work out I agree with Chickenman, a re pinch is better than most people think.

I have had several pinches done and most turned out OK. (A friend of mine has been doing my pinches.) The last one I had done was a little too tight. The next one I do is going to RayAracing. Buy reading his procedure about what he does, it sounds like he knows what he's doing.
