I have noticed that u can get different types of pistons and liners Dus anyone which one is the best one to go for

Theres no aftermarket rerplacement for the piston/sleeve. You can go with an aftermarket conrod (which is recommended as this is a known weak spot for the 3.3) but only a stock Traxxas sleeve combo is available for the 3.3

What does an aftermarket conrod do? I need a replacement piston and sleeve because its a piece where the conrod fits into that has sheared off, I'm.trying to find the cheapest place to get one from. I have also heard you can get different piston sleeves to enhance performance but not sure which is the best one because they have different size holes for the fuel and air flow intake. On a few of the websites they have them in different degrees of temperature that they can run at as well. But for the moment just looking at the cheapest place to get one from

Please share this link with us on where you can get different sized P&S sets for one engine.

This is a new one on me too. The aftermarket conrod is made by Davis Diesels it's machined from a solid chunck of billet aluminum and has brass bushings on both ends. The stock TRX rod only has the bushing at the cranksahft end. The stock rod has a tendancy to split at the wrist pin and punch holes in the piston. I don't know where you heard you can get different sleeves because the sleeve and piston are sold in matched sets.
