what pope would be the best sounding and performing pipe that i could buy for mt nitro rustler? .......i have the rd logics pipe (tmaxx):fro:

If you has a side exhaust engine, i would reccomend the THS pipe. If you have rear exhaust, a fantom pipe works good. It all depends on the engine...

if it is a side then i also recamend the THS. i getting one of those when i finsh other things.

I got a ace brand pipe for my jato off ebay..all others are on back-order and its giving me the shits bigtime..always waiting.........the company says awesome mid-range power, but increase in top end and low as well..screamin mid range, plus if you dont want it to be LOUD,do not purchase this pipe..I'm waitin........damn them!!!!!!

Hey all,

Call me crazy, but I've got the Vantage racing CF pipe on my MT2...It's mated to an OS 18CV-R...I liked this mill/pipe combo when it was on my Nitro3 (which I then used for its lightweight characteristics, since I wanted to better balance the car) but I put another one on the truck since it's tough as heck (doesn't ding) and I felt the 18cv-r had enough torque and I wanted a pipe that can help out in the RPM department :-)....I haven't had much time to actually road test it since i got the truck (3 days ago), but as soon as i do, i'll let you know exactly how it turns out.

** if it doens't work out, I've got an AE pipe from an RC10GT that I'll be trying out too (looks more for torque by the looks of it)

Lol,

we all gave our opinions...there is no "best" pipe, it's mostly driver preference...if there WAS a "best" pipe, there would be no market competition. All of the above are good, just get the one that meet your particular needs (ex: ths = sound & performance, vantage = strength/durability & performance, etc)

** good luck in deciding, please let us know which one you choose

according to the previous posts, the ACE on off ebay is loud. The ths is also pretty loud from what i've heard

The ACE pipe, hurts the ears on idle, and has a cracklin sound on wot.Waitin on a single chamber traxxas pipe, but the ACE woke up the low and midrange bigtime!!!!Got any annoying neighbours??Ace it up,it will put a smile on your dial..is very annoying after a while though.

well i have a rustler with a 2.5R and i have a ofna ripple pipe and this thing is loud and it make awsome power through out the intire powerband i bought it used for like 5 bux and didnt use it for a long time then i busted my pipe and decided to try it out for the rest of the race after a little bit of tunning i could barely handle this thing at wide open and mid range was ok but bottom and top was nutz
