well i was driving my 3.3 yesterday, and the freaking header broke off:angry:.
so what kind of header or pipe should i get? i was thinking of the buku system,but to much tuning. is the THS pipe better than the traxxas resnator?
 
I know I've heard different people say both are better than the stock, but I'm not sure if there is anyone that's had both the THS and the resonator to compare. Brushlessboy or Scrogg may know the answer to that question.
 
i say resonator all the way. I've used the THS and Trinity pipe. let just say that i used the trinity header with the resonator pipe. good combo, but i ended up selling both the THS pipe and trinity pipe
 
All I have used is the stock pipe with a O.S. header and my THS hardcoated. I love the THS pipe on the 3.3 engine. I'm kinda ticked off with my O.S. 21 right now. The Trinity does offer the advantage of working on small or big block engines. You never know, you might want a big block one day.
 
so th THS is probably a good match for the 3.3? i wouldnt mind to have the rb523 but they're expensive and i can barely tune my 3.3.

The THS is a very nice quality pipe and it improves the 3.3 drastically. The 3.3 is kinda hard to tune, I feel ya.
RB engines are well known for being easy to tune. I recommend you stick with the 3.3 until you are more comfortable tuning though. The RB is expensive.
 
I do not own the Trinity header or pipe, sorry bud.
all I know is that the O.S. header pipe gaskets and THS header gaskets are really close in size if that helps.
 
I use the Traxxas resonator pipes on the 3.3's, although I have a Revo with an RD Logics twin stinger, it tunes ok but the others are easier.
I have Sirios, RB's and a Dynamite Platinum in the other Revo's and they all run Trinity.
The Trinity is a good setup.
