on a scale of 1 to 10, how loud is a RC10GT RTR w/ stock pipe engine

1 being an electric, 10 being a Savage .25 RTR w/ stock pipe

Well, mine is really well tuned, used with a stock stinger. I would say 3 or 4 topps, maybe more when WOT and full speed...

A very quiet car is the HPI mt2 (.15 engine).

I have heard that the MT2 blows and is really weak like the Maxx. but I heard that from one person how good is it.

Well, I have a Nitro MT (1), and so does my brother. they are pretty well made. My brother's (being sold), hauls butt. Fantom .15, (a little more power than stock, like 3 times as much), clocked at 43 mph. I have heard the Nitro MT2 with 18ss engine is around 46 mph, claimed by hpi. The fantom 15 with dynamite pipe isn't too bad. maybe a 6, compared to a 4.6 Savage that would be close to a 9 or 10

I have one with the .15 (not ss).
It's pretty durable. I've only had minor repair issues.
Nothing to complain about.

nitro mt2 RTR. the 18ss is a kit.

I've got a MT2 as well and I love it for simple fun in the dirt when I don't want to lug the Savage around. The ONLY problem I've had is the front hub screws stripping out of the plastic. I'm going to buck up and get a set of the GPM aluminum hubs that are machine threaded and use those. Should solve my problem.

The MT2 is quiet. Same engine and pipe as the RS4. Compared to my Savage (where I have to yell to the person next to me) it's nothing...

I could run the MT2 or RS4 at 10 o'clock at night, not the Savage...

My RC10GT runs pretty quiet even with the O.S. Engine on it. I don't know if the AE engine is any louder.
